I swam as an age grouper for 12 years and was trained as a sprinter (200's were my distance races). Now, 10 years later, I am getting wet again and training for a triathalon (1.5k swim) - I feel like you'd never know I swam for 12 years. What I am focusing on is distance per stroke but I really have no structures in my workouts. Does anyone have ANY advice that can be offered for open water and distance training?
