We have a bunch of lakes around here but they're absolutely notorious for boating accidents (in fact two of the closest ones to where I live have the highest fatalities in the state). So just going to the lake and swimming isn't really an option.
Does anyone know of any open water swimming areas in the Dallas / Fort Worth area?
