The "B Flight" heats are still going on. I just saw a woman swim the first 100 of the 200 *** and then stop. She was way ahead of the rest of the heat at that point, so it would appear she was going for a 100 time, but it's odd that she didn't finish the swim. :dunno:
Sorry for bumping the thread, as I know the event is over and has been for some time, but I have seen this happening more and more in our sport. Why are people continuously coming up short? I heard that there was a vendor at this event that even had deals on trinkets to add to your swimsuit. It seems like maybe some of these swimmers are more focused on the material things than the competition.
