Oh Canada...
:canada:
The Event Announcement for next spring (May 18-21, 2012):

:canada:
I know it's early, but I might as well start getting ready. Definitely cheaper than flying cross country to USMS Nats. This is about 5 hours due north from here, and I'm sure many from PNA will attend as well.
:canada:
Will you be going?? I suppose I need to get some kind of passport as well.

According to the latest Records and Tabulation conference call minutes:

We may not have to do the measuring for Kelowna, if I'm reading that correctly. Or possibly for this year, we'll still have to follow the "old rules" for USMS recognition of Top Ten.
First of all, you certainly cannot count on any one rule proposal to pass. Secondly, from what I understand, rules that pass come into force on 1/1/13 unless we specifically ask for it to apply retroactively, something that may not be granted and that we haven't talked about as a committee anyway.
Since the meet happens before Convention, I would proceed with the safer assumption that the rule proposal will fail.
