I'm going to Houston next week. Where should I swim?
I know nothing about the city, having never been there. I will be staying at the Hotel Derek so the closer the pool is to there, the better.

Running is this heat must be brutal. I'm just not acclimated. Except for the pool I've been making a conscious effort to move as little as possible.
I might try Dad's next time I come out here, but for now the Houstonian is what I know and it's damn close to the hotel. At 5 AM everyone is friendly (or silently swimming) and it seems like pretty much any other early-morning Masters crowd. My type of scene. I wouldn't want to try and swim there in the afternoon though.
