I need to get a suit for a May 22 swim leg on a triathlon that I can use for open water swims as well. I don't need a technical suit. I need a quality suit with minimal thermal protection and decent core compression at a reasonable (under $200) price.
Any recommendations? I'm not familiar with the rules for these organizing bodies and figured someone would know off the top of their head. Thanks in advance.

Cheap wetsuits provide boyancy. To get the benefits of compression you need to step up in price range. Like anything else, the price goes up alot for minimal improvements in quality. Try this one:
