ARE you going?
What suit are you going to rock in your races? TIPS
One of the masters swimmers I train with went to Auburn,
this morning I asked him
"How do you get to Auburn?"
He said fly into Atlanta then drive 2 hours to Auburn.
He added if you do this, one thing you want to be aware of is
Atlanta is on Eastern Time & Auburn is on Central time
so when you drive from:
Atlanta to Auburn you subtract an hour &
Auburn to Atlanta you add an hour.
Anybody know who was selling the auburn swimming shirts so I could contact them? I got my daughter a youth medium rather than a regular medium and now she is sad.
Great pictures, Elaine! Thanks for posting!
Your welcome! And, thanks!
Videos are at www.YouTube.com/EKrugman1
I finally got a clue and made the album visible on the playlists, so you should be able to find our relay and videos of our teammates!
I have posted an album of photos from Nationals here:

Thanks to Lump (Jeff Palm) for getting my pre-race and race shots! :D

Just noticed something interesting:Laura Val would have finished 2nd in the 200 Fly and 3rd in the 100 Fly in the men's section.Has a woman ever been the fastest in her age group, men or women at Nats?

(1:05.37 to 1:05.56). She also beat him in the 200m Backstroke (2:25.44 to 2:31.26). She set a national record in the 50m Backstroke (30.84) but Christian was faster going under 30 in the 50 as well as two other split request swims. The split requests may have had a lot to do with why she beat him in the 100m and 200m backstroke.
Heck, 33-year-old Noriko Inada's 100 back time at Auburn (1:01.78) was faster than the time of ANY male at the meet, in any age group.
Still smarting from that one 'eh?

If I'm not mistaken, Karlyn Pipes-Neilson accomplished this at LCM Nationals in Portland in 1995 in the 200m back. I think she was 30-34 for that meet.
