I am planning a visit to Munich soon and would love to swim there. Has anyone had experience recently swimming in the Olympic pool there? I have been looking online and it seems possible. If only I read German. Thanks.
Make sure you swim in lane 4 at the Olympic pool. I did, at the world masters championships a few years ago.

Actually I would say she should swim in lane 5. In case you didn't know the person asking about this was Mark Spitz's counter part in the 200 Fly on the Women's side. Karen Moe won the 200 Fly after qualifying 2nd in the prelims to Ellie Daniel and won the gold medal in the final and set a World Record in the process.
That event in the 1972 Olympics was the last time a USA Women's team did a sweep of the first 3 places and the last time both USA Men and Women have sweep the same event at the Olympics.
