I peak for , lose for & taper for our state meet in the month of April.
Since the start of S C season in Oct. I have managed to lose 20 lbs.
Now I'm down to only 1/2 a ton.
I wish I could keep it off during off season!
I don't worry too much about my weight. What I keep track of is my body fat percentage. In January it was 17.76%, last week it was 16.37%. I'm hoping to be in low 15's by the time I go to nationals.
