I peak for , lose for & taper for our state meet in the month of April.
Since the start of S C season in Oct. I have managed to lose 20 lbs.
Now I'm down to only 1/2 a ton.
I wish I could keep it off during off season!

Now I eat a more or less paleo diet, and I can't wait for breakfast in the morning.
If you get a chance - watch the movie FatHead (on Netflix or Hulu: Hulu - Fat Head - Watch the full feature film now.@@AMEPARAM@@www.hulu.com/.../djyiCttz-dTjtvypNWoCLw@@AMEPARAM@@djyiCttz-dTjtvypNWoCLw) - it's long (2 hours give or take), but it's VERY informative and it takes the science of diet and puts it in fantastic lei terms). But it'll have you re-thinking your food choices... it's not diet specific - but his conclusions do seem to loosely follow those of the Paleo Diet. Eat more fat, less carbs (not zero carbs) and you'll notice a difference. If you actually put a little time into looking at your options, there are plenty out there. :) It's worth it.
