I peak for , lose for & taper for our state meet in the month of April.
Since the start of S C season in Oct. I have managed to lose 20 lbs.
Now I'm down to only 1/2 a ton.
I wish I could keep it off during off season!

239 in August of 2010...197 today. 42 lbs.
The key, for me, was getting in the pool AT LEAST four times a week and making healthy eating choices. You've gotta eat breakfast (high fiber english muffin with egg whites, some lean ham, and fat free "cheese" has been my favorite). Get your fruits and veggies in and the occasional dietary splurge won't kill you.
