I peak for , lose for & taper for our state meet in the month of April.
Since the start of S C season in Oct. I have managed to lose 20 lbs.
Now I'm down to only 1/2 a ton.
I wish I could keep it off during off season!
I've lost 8 lbs. Best of all, I've lost the flotation device in my belly that was ruining my balance in the water. I am now close to neutral buoyancy like when I was young.
I am swimming 3x/wk, 2500-3500 yds. I have also been doing some dry land aerobics and toning. I also walk two big dogs daily out in the woods.
I don't diet, but I have tried to increase my intake of fruits and vegetables. Limiting portions is increasingly needed as I am no longer young.
