NW Zones
I'm swimming the 400 IM, 100 Fly, 200 Back, 100 Back, 200 Fly, and 200 IM.
I will be tapered and shaved. I'm in week 2 of my taper now, so I'm swimming fast in practice but I haven't hit the tired spot yet.

Well...since That Guy lives on his computer he beat me to it, so I'll list it anyway!! NW Zones
I'm swimming the 400 IM, 50 ***, 200 Free (as fly), 200 Back, and 100 IM...all these events are on Saturday. :applaud: I'm basically going to the meet because I like to race and wouldn't miss an organized swim anywhere. :) And of course to have some good competition with That Guy.
I will NOT be shaving or tapering for this meet, but 3 weeks later I will be for USMS Nationals! I'm still going to go for my 400 IM age group record at this meet (if I don't break it this coming weekend too). It is the 1st event of the day, and I should have some good help in some nearby lanes. The 200 Free (FLY) is pretty much for fun (and to compare with That Guy the following day). I'm swimming it in the middle of the freestylers with my normal Fly entry time. This way I should get some good racing all around...lots of fun.
I'm also swimming 5 events this one day because I'm cheap and not going to get a motel room if I don't have to. Over and back the same day 2 3/4 hour drive for me each way.

Try to keep up on the 4IM, if you manage to stay on my feet you should get the record easily.

I was planning to be there, but I got all carried away and entered Mesa so I'll probably skip Zones.Zones is the week after our Assn meet anyway.Good luck there.

I still need to sign up for the meet, but I was considering entering the 200 back, too. I'm likely to be third out of the three of us, but at least I can use the two of you to judge how I'm doing! Of course it will be James' fourth event of the day...

It could be the twelveth event of the day for me...and I still wouldn't let you get me in the 200 back!! :afraid:

Looks like it's on then!!
Time to start working the backstroke in practice. I really need to practice my starts.

Good luck Allen! I'll probably see you this summer at an LCM meet.

I'm also swimming at NW Zones
I'm planning to taper, but most likely won't shave. My biggest goal this year is to break 2:00.00 in the 200fr - shaving seems kind of silly for what really isn't a fast swim.
I do plan to watch the 200back race, though.
I might even make sure I'm watching somewhere with a good angle on the finish so I'll know what I'm talking about if I post 'attaboys' afterwards.
