  • Congrats to Cal. It takes some awesome, awesome swimming by a whole team of guys to win this thing without divers. I loved the streaming video, if for no other reason than I finally got to watch a whole 1650 'televised' from start to finish! That was a great race race to watch. Props to McBroom for dropping 18 seconds off his personal best and bringing home Texas' first ever 1650 NCAA title. Sweet. long swims are pretty compelling to watch. I loved that there was a tie for 2nd. Chad La Tourette really fought to keep that second place position. It just didn't look well when you see the first 400, commerical break, and then last 200. NBC really needs to show the whole 1500 and women's 800 next year. Do they any commerical breaks or summarized coverage of the 1500 in Australia?
