Anything under 0.7 is blazing. I think anything under 0.8 is "good," anything over 0.9 is slowish.
But if you've ever practiced relay starts you'll find out with a little practice it's easy to get under 0.3 consistently. That's why relay starts knock off at least 0.5 seconds from your total time. You've also got the advantage that you're already in motion so it's probably worth a little more even.
How come they're showing relay exchange times on the results but not block times for the flat 50? I'd love to see what kind of block time some of those guys are pulling off.
