What else should we include on this page?
Hmmm...I wonder who's gonna make the Olympic Team tonight in the 100 Free? Maybe someone from USMS might be able to. Well, we'll see in the next hour (on west coast) after it's televised on tv...
Ooops! I posted it after it was televised on the east coast. :blush: Wasn't it on live?

Evidently live doesn't apply to the West Coast.We get tape delay:censor:. Instead of live we get undead,NBCs zombie telecast.

:lmao:
I should have remember that; I lived on the West Coast my entire life, until 2004... :blush:
I'll keep my mouth (fingers?) shut on the 50 free, until everybody has had a chance to view it on TV. :bolt:
While I am ranting about NBC,why don't they show more underwater shots than just the turns?Not necessarily during the race, but during the post race review they could have underwater shots and have a coach explain why swimmer A is faster than swimmer B.They do they sort of analysis all the time for football and basketball,why not swimming?(ABC did it at the 1972 Olympics where they did a slowmotion analysis of Spitz's butterfly.)
I'm going to double-post and I don't care...
CULLEN JONES MAKES THE TEAM IN THE 100 FREE!!!
:bliss::ohyeah: :banana: :cheerleader: :applaud:
WOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!
That's cool that he was 2nd place. I originally thought he "made the team" by placing in the top 6 for relay swimmers.

YES! I love those underwater shots and they are always so brief! I would love to watch a replay of an entire race underwater.
Hey, speaking of underwater, I bought an underwater camera and Bruce got some good footage just by dipping the camera under at the side of the pool. I'll post it on The Breaststroke Lane after Nats, since you will be just a bit busy between now and then! :cheerleader:

We might see the same top 2 in the 50. :applaud:
I heard something about how they had to pull an underwater camera system out of the pool during prelims in order for all ten lanes to be functional. Could be it's a pain to get it back in place for finals.
