2012 Olympic Trials USA Swimming

The 2012 United States Olympic Trials - Swimming will once again be held at the Qwest Center in Omaha, Nebraska. The 2008 Trials set a new standard for swimming excitement and 2012 promises to bring even more poolside thrills to America's Heartland. Check back often for updates as we draw closer to naming the team that will represent the United States in the pool at the London Olympic Games.   • For crying out loud, they cover miles after miles of the Tour de France, countless hours of tedious baseball games, soccer games, etc. I don't think covering 15 minutes for one race is asking too much. And if it's anything like past Olympics they will show more or less the entire marathon (with commercial breaks, of course) which lasts two hours. OK, the marathon is more scenic, but we're talking about a 15 minute race compared to a 125 minute race.
