  • Also, Dara Torres got fourth place and missed the team. Everyone else who got interviewed made the team. Kara Lynn Joyce didn't get interviewed at all and she beat Dara Torres :(Yes, Jazz, I agree, that was shameful, as well. Covering the 1500 being contested by non-superstars that don't really represent credible medal threats is probably asking too much. For crying out loud, they cover miles after miles of the Tour de France, countless hours of tedious baseball games, soccer games, etc. I don't think covering 15 minutes for one race is asking too much. And, while I agree neither of these guys is likely to challenge Sun Yang or Ryan Cochrane, the bronze is up for grabs in London. I'm more annoyed at all of the great semis that they missed in their obession to air every second Phelps swam the entire trials.I agree ... plus all of the countless re-runs of swims in Beijing. Can we all just agree to let the Cavic-Phelps race be relegated to the vaults of history?
