The 2012 United States Olympic Trials - Swimming
will once again be held at the Qwest Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
The 2008 Trials set a new standard for swimming excitement and 2012 promises to bring even more poolside thrills to America's Heartland.
Check back often for updates as we draw closer to naming the team that will represent the United States in the pool at the London Olympic Games.

Also, Dara Torres got fourth place and missed the team. Everyone else who got interviewed made the team. Kara Lynn Joyce didn't get interviewed at all and she beat Dara Torres :(
Fame over merit. But, yes, shameful.
What I don't understand is why Dara (and others) insist on parading their kids on the medal stand or during an interview.
It sounded like Tarmoh was emotionally spent after rounds of the 100 and 200 and knew that Felix (more endurance) would likely be her. Still, very odd to just give away a spot like that. The coin flip option was beyond ridiculous. Who would ever agree to that? Though some of the T&F stars seem to think the outcome of a race is not in their own hands. :bolt:
