"A decision has not been reached yet on whether or not Davis Tarwater, who finished 7th in the 200 free at Trials, will be added to the Olympic roster."It would be great if Tarwater was placed on the team. But it seems like the best option is for Vanderkaay, Dwyer, McLean and Houchin in the 4X200 prelims. Then Lochte, Phelps, Berens and 1 from prelims in finals. Which leaves Tarwater high and dry.
There is still 1 of the 12 relay only spots available and the Men’s team is going to be under the 26 person max, so there is room and hope.
