2012 Olympic Trials USA Swimming

The 2012 United States Olympic Trials - Swimming will once again be held at the Qwest Center in Omaha, Nebraska. The 2008 Trials set a new standard for swimming excitement and 2012 promises to bring even more poolside thrills to America's Heartland. Check back often for updates as we draw closer to naming the team that will represent the United States in the pool at the London Olympic Games.     I don’t know how they are going to manage the men’s 4x100 free relay. Lochte scratched the finals but I think he deserves a spot on the relay even though he didn’t put up an amazing time tonight. He’s not fully rested and will be a lot better in London. He split a 47.9 at Pan Pacs in 2010. He has improved since then and I think he’s good for a 47.5 split in London.This is a really good question. Are they going to take 8 potential relay swimmers to London? One other note: it just occured to me that Dagny Knutson missed the Trials this year, apparently due to a health issue. Ever since she deferred at Auburn, she's had a ridiculous run of bad luck.
