I don’t know how they are going to manage the men’s 4x100 free relay. Lochte scratched the finals but I think he deserves a spot on the relay even though he didn’t put up an amazing time tonight. He’s not fully rested and will be a lot better in London. He split a 47.9 at Pan Pacs in 2010. He has improved since then and I think he’s good for a 47.5 split in London. This is a really good question. Are they going to take 8 potential relay swimmers to London?
One other note: it just occured to me that Dagny Knutson missed the Trials this year, apparently due to a health issue. Ever since she deferred at Auburn, she's had a ridiculous run of bad luck.
