2012 Olympic Trials USA Swimming

The 2012 United States Olympic Trials - Swimming will once again be held at the Qwest Center in Omaha, Nebraska. The 2008 Trials set a new standard for swimming excitement and 2012 promises to bring even more poolside thrills to America's Heartland. Check back often for updates as we draw closer to naming the team that will represent the United States in the pool at the London Olympic Games.     Donahue wasn't a huge surprise if you noticed her in 2011 when she turned in a 58.05 #14 world ranking (tied with Natalie) last August and then had a very nice Pan Am Games. I think a lot of folks had her clustered with Coughlin and Christine Magnuson as racing for the second spot in the event. And of the contenders, she actually seemed to still be improving unlike some of the other expected finalists. Wonder if Becca Mann is going to manage to take down the 13-14 400 free record that Ledecky just missed. It seems like she's got a late enough birthday that she could take a run at Sippy's time ay the US Open in August.
