The 2012 United States Olympic Trials - Swimming
will once again be held at the Qwest Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
The 2008 Trials set a new standard for swimming excitement and 2012 promises to bring even more poolside thrills to America's Heartland.
Check back often for updates as we draw closer to naming the team that will represent the United States in the pool at the London Olympic Games.

The swimmers that swim these are not usually the swimmers in the semi finals or finals and there purpose is different than those swimmers contesting to be on the Olympic squad.
And even though we see the guys like Lochte who qualified in darn near every event, the majority of the swimmers at Trials probably only made cuts in an event or two. TTs give these swimmer more opportunities to swim.
By the way, there was somewhat of a flap last week when USA Swimming announced that due to the number of competitors at Trials they would not be running time trials. There must have been enough of a backlash that they partially reversed their decision and now are offering a limited number of time trials.
