The 2012 United States Olympic Trials - Swimming will once again be held at the Qwest Center in Omaha, Nebraska. The 2008 Trials set a new standard for swimming excitement and 2012 promises to bring even more poolside thrills to America's Heartland.     This article explains why that occurred sports.espn.go.com/.../story article, thanks for that. I know he trains like no one ever has (with the possible exception of Vendt or Phelps), but it's still shocking to see the drops he's capable of. He's always been this way, but the last two years have been particularly shocking in terms of his tapers. The taper he had for Shanghai was equally ridiculous. I suspect he's working harder than he ever has, which is saying something. Jaeger just qualified first in the 400 free with a 3:48.0. 10 guys within 2 seconds.
