  • I thought that they were going to show the finals live on tv so i missed the 400 im. It makes no sense why they would hype up Phelps vs. Lochte so much and not even show it live. It's on prime-time tonight. On a separate note I'm disappointed that Coughlin won't be in the relay finals. She had the best leg on the qualifying rounds and seemed like she was the catalyst to their great performance. The lead-off girl seemed a little twitchy, not a good thing for the lead-off.

I'm sure it was a tough call. Coughlin had a faster split but Neal was only 0.2 sec slower with a flat start. She just looked worse because of the quality of her competition. Still, since they were close, I would not have been surprised had they gone with experience over youth.

So I've been looking into this whole "Live Coverage" thing that NBC is doing, however you have to have some kind of cable or satellite TV provider. Does anyone have any idea on what to do if you have neither? I just put in Comcast Xfinity and was able to view a very choppy video. Big Deal.

Thanks PatrickJM. I got a friend to hook me up though so I'm all set now. Catching up on the prelims right now.

HOW AND WHERE CAN WE WATCH FINALS LIVE IN 30 MINUTES? nbc.com is absolutely cluttered. Is it on a cable channel? On the website? If someone has a link, please post. I signed up to watch live streams on the nbc website and got some message like "you're all set! without a single instruction." I really don't want to miss the 400 IM...
