I'm sure it was a tough call. Coughlin had a faster split but Neal was only 0.2 sec slower with a flat start. She just looked worse because of the quality of her competition. Still, since they were close, I would not have been surprised had they gone with experience over youth. Good point Chris. I just sentimentally wanted Coughlin, she seems like such a class act.
