2012 Olympics: Swimming

Overall, it was a touch schedule to pull off successfully. Well, at least, he got 2 more golds. I don't think that he needed to be knocked down. In swimming, sometimes it is not about who put the more work in. It just might be more about who is the freshest to put in the best performance. If he trains for Rio, he will have to tweak some things in his training. He could be too bulked up for swimming. Also, he have to drop an event or two. Or, Florida might to tweak their program. Possibly he just missed his taper, tho that doesn't explain his very good 400 IM. Maybe losing at the end of the relay just rattled his confidence enough to slow him down a little. Other than the 400 IM, he was faster a year ago at Wolds, right? (I don't remember if he did 200 back, but he was def faster in the 200 IM and free.)
