2012 Olympics: Swimming

I think Troy has been a great coach for Ryan for several years now, but mixing it up & going to California just might be what he needs. A fresh perspective & different training regimen might be just what the doctor ordered - after all at the next Olympics he will be what? almost 32 years old? I know how hard it is for me to race people who are 10 years younger - at that level, it's got to be just as hard. The older we get, the more "little things" can interfere with your training & racing performance. My heart just goes out to him on that 200 backstroke. I think he did extremely well on the 2 IM, all considering - and he's certainly beat Phelps in major competitions in that event in the past. Yesterday just wasn't his day. :(
