I'm in the "Lochte didn't earn the anchor spot in the finals" camp, but if Grevers or Lezak swam in his stead and we still lost, how many people would have been posting "If only they put Lochte in that relay, the USA would have won for sures!"
I would have liked then to have gone with Lezak. He's obviously proven he knows how to come through in exactly this situation and having that experience might have been a difference-maker.
