Wow. For my age group, I just compared the 10th place times for 2010 with the 10th place times for 2009. Every single event was slower in 2010. In some cases, MUCH slower. I wish I had entered more SCM meets last year! This year I need to swim as many SCM meets as possible just to cover certain events... but I'm not going to do distance free just to get a top ten. I have principles here people!
If the same trend occurs in SCY this season, I may even be able to sneak in a top ten or two there. :rolleyes:
I agree with you on the slower times in 2010 vs. 2009. In the 30-34 it is basically the same trend. Slower top end times, and even really slower #10 spots in most events. Maybe I can make the 50 free!!! Yea right.
