Actually Coach Victoria beat me solidly in the sprint penthalon - she banked .6 spread in the 100 IM and we each won 2 of the 4 25,'s but that spread was too difficult to make up, along with her ***.
I swam the 50's as fast off the block & breakouts, then did them as 'back half of the 100". I build the 200 mystery IM, knowing that if you miscalculate, that last 50 *** could be a total time-eater! Then I started with true all-out punch on the 50 free and into the last 4 x 25's and mystery IM.
The funnest events were the ones where you get out and grab the stop watch to time the next heats. It was so campy to have to do that! The next funnest things was to see swimmers come in to watch and then be heckled into swimming the meet.
