Increasing weekly distance

Hi folks, I am looking for guidelines for how much to increase my weekly distance by. My overall goals are to reach 1000 miles for the year and to swim several 5k races (and possibly a few 10k races plus the 10 mi 'Swim the Suck' in the Tennessee river in October.) I currently swim about 15k-20k yards per week including plenty of intervals of varying distance & drills, too! Thanks in advance!
