Hi,
For the longest time, I have been a backstroker. Lately, it has become a complete mess. Training is the worst - as I swim it - it's uncomfortable, I feel out of my groove and I'm just plain exhausted (I don't feel like "myself" when I swim it). At a meet last month, I added 3 secs onto my 100 (I was pretty much drowning at the 75).
My other strokes feel pretty darn good, which is keeping me going.
I have a meet next month and I'm taking a break from the back events.
Has anyone experienced anything like this?

Oh yea! I have the same experience with my freestyle. I still haven't figured things out, so I don't know what to tell you. One reason for my problem, I listened to many "experts" about my stroke instead of just listening to one or two people that I trusted.
