I wonder what one of the greatest swimmers of all time would think about all these gadgets like pool bouys, kickboards, paddles,flipflops,nose clips ect..?

Why are you worried about Olympians opinions on equipment and such? If you're not at that level (and I honestly don't know you) you ought to poll your peer group and find the ones that have had the most improvement and see what they're up to. :2cents:
Unless of course you're suggesting they'd say all this stuff is newfangled and a waste of time. I think anyone from any era who wanted to improve would be interested in new training technology. :2cents:
