Lochte aiming to match Phelps with 8 golds

    I posted this in another thread somewhere, but the shocking event will be ... 200 fly. Yes. The 200 fly. Why? According to his buddy Ed Moses (look at my post history) ... b/c his 100 fly in the 400IM is just off of Phelps', and that's with very little emphasis/training. Substitute 4x100 free and replace it w/ 200 fly and that's what Lochte will be shooting for in London: 9 golds. IF the event order will permit. But the key is the 100 back b/c that will get him 2 chances at golds (if he wins the 100back and the US wins the medley relay). I like your analysis. If Peirsol can take on the 100 fly, why not Lochte giving the 200 fly a shot?
