Has anyone ever tried or heard about any kind of (padded) "lightweight" shoe/slipper/slip-on that can be used when working out (and stays on)?
I need to get something to ease my forefoot pain when I swim (turn). I have tried taping Dr. Sholl's pads to my forefeet - and this works to a degree, but sometimes they come off (and it is a pain to cut them, apply them, and tape over them!).
Apparently, as some of us age (I'm closing in on 70), we lose the natural padding in our forefeet!
Thanks......
Rick
I'm thinking a pair of neoprene "dive socks" (lots of choices come up in Google) may do the trick. You could put the Dr. Scholl pads inside and then slip them onto your feet.
Thanks!
I will try this approach. I had tried fin socks a while back (Tyr or Kiefer, I think), but they are very thin and don't hold up that well.
Never thought/knew about "dive" socks (some even look a little padded - hopefully!)......
You're welcome. I hope this works for you. :agree:
