Congrats to Cal's Teri McKeever, who becomes the first-ever woman head Olympic coach! She's broken a lot of barriers in the last four years -- first woman assistant coach on the Oly team, first woman coach to win NCAAs and now first woman to get the head coaching gig. Very happy for her. And it's a good excuse to (re)read Natalie Coughlin's autobiography since McKeever plays an equal role. More new blood: Gregg Troy (Lochte's coach at Florida) will lead the men's team. Now I'm gonna have to start campaigning hard for my employer to send me to London instead of having me work on Oly coverage back here.
