2011 SCY Nats in Mesa, AZ

Thanks, there was once a time I was a better butterflier than backstroker. It was, unfortunately, a virtual race since we were not in the same heat. Yet another reason I dislike sandbagging...it would have been nice to have been able to push each other. Bobby has been regaining his form slowly but surely over the last couple of seasons. He'll be going 50.x in the 100 and low 1:50s in the 200 before too much longer. (I remember him more of a 200 flier back in the day, but he claims to have gotten over that problem.) It looks like you are a pretty dang good butterflier now. It looks like there were a lot of really fast times at this meet - maybe we don't need those rubber suits after all. I would guess Bobby was not sandbagging - he was probably surprised by that time. He hasn't gone that fast for a very long time.
