I saw Ande, today, and he was disappointed he missed his 400IM. It was the first thing he said to me after "Hi Elaine-iaK!" He was trying to make it around the pool to the blocks, but his heat came up when he was still on the other side.
Give the guy a break; we all make mistakes! The heats have been running very fast; both days were ahead of schedule. I am willing to bet he wasn't the only one to miss his heat...
