So I stole this idea from a parenting board I used to post on, where they had an "I spy" thread. For those of us who train alone in the lap sessions, or see other swimmers when we take our kids to practice or whenever, simply post when and where you saw someone and see if they respond.
Its a fun way to strike up a conversation, as people may think you a bit weird if you ask a random swimmer in the pool if they are a USMS member. Or like myself earlier this week had a chap swim in the next lane to me who was very fast, and while I would have loved to ask if he swam for a team or if he wanted a training partner, it's a bit hard to chat when we were both pounding out the yards from opposite ends of the pool.
So here goes.....
If you were at Allen Natatorium, Tx on Tues 30 Nov around 10.30 am swimming in lane 8  I was in lane 9 :drowning: realising that a week off is not a good preparation for an endurance set.
Also  to the lady in the white hat who gets out around 10am - I have seen you a few times and occasionally shared a lane. You have a very smooth freestyle :)
