What kind of water (chlorine, etc.) do you mostly swim in?

I suppose pools that use non-chlorine sanitizers are still very rare in the U.S.? What about in other countries?

Where I coached a high school team they switched ti Tarn pur a non clor system for 10 years, It was great.
This is the first time I heard of it. Does it smell? Wonder how it compares to Ozone/UV, quality-wise and cost-wise. Ozone usually still combines with a little chlorine; what about Tarn Pure?
