How many events do you do at your state meet?

In Illinois we are allowed to do 11 event over the state time frame with one distance event on thur/fri with 5 events each day on sat & sun. What does your state allow & what do you enter?

  • That'd prolly keep me from entering these meets. I usually go through the order of events and check when my events are. If it looks like i'm going to have to sit there for 3-4 hours after warmup, i don't even bother entering that meet. I don't exactly have any masters meets to reference though since all I know are USAS meets. Are the masters meets all this long? The length of Masters Meets is entirely dependent on the number of participants. Most big meets have a time line so you have a pretty good idea of how long they last.Unlike USAS meets, Masters meets are required to have a warmup/warmdown area available at all times. This means if my events are at the end of a session I get to sleep in(:banana:) and still get a warmup.
