In Illinois we are allowed to do 11 event over the state time frame with one distance event on thur/fri with 5 events each day on sat & sun.
What does your state allow & what do you enter?

Last year on Sat. I did not do the 400 I M till 6:20 in the eve. warm ups began at 7:00 A M.:bed: That is a long day
WOW, no kidding that's a long day. I'd prolly have gotten bored well before that and just went home. Swim meets keep my attention but not for 11 hours!
It seems like your state needs to impose harder cutoff times if THAT many people make it to state. An 11 hour meet is borderline rediculous IMO.
The longest USAS state prelims session i ever attended was 4 hours long in comparison.
*EDIT* thought about it more... i retract my "borderline rediculous" claim. I decided that I feel an 11 hour meet is WAY into the rediculous category.
