Fast Lane Vs Badu SwimJet System

I am getting ready to install a pool and want to put sometype of swim system in it. The installer recommended the Badu SwimJet system since it is a lot cleaner looking than the Fast Lane. However I can not find any reviews on the Badu system other than the one Fast Lane did and I am sure they are a bit biased :) Any thoughts good or bad on either of these systems would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

While I haven't tried the Badu SwimJet, I did compare an Endless Pool system with a similar jetted swim spa system. The quality of the swimming experience for me was far superior in the Endless pool compared to the swim spa. The size of the current in the Endless pool was large enough that swimming felt "normal". In the swim spa, the current was very turbulent and required modification of my stroke to stay in place. And, I was not even able to do breaststroke against the jetting action. Before you purchase either system, be sure to do a test swim. You can contact Endless Pools, and they will arrange for you to try swimming in one of their pools.
  • Which is the one you are leaning toward?

I think I am leaning toward the fast lane. They have a good reputation, unless someone has any other recommendations. I am open to other products if anyone knows of them.
  • Is there a big diff in price?

I'm not very knowledgable about these but perhaps try calling around to pool builders that install these (might be a little hard since there probably aren't tons of these being sold). If you find someone who does a lot of these they could probably steer you in the best direction based on customers experiences. Does anyone know about a product similar to these for an existing pool? I suppose anything could be installed but I don't want to tear up concrete obviously? I have a 20x40 and it just too short for swimming. Good luck with your choice and have fun with it!!

Orca, the prices are very similiar. The main difference is the Budo has a lot cleaner look to it.

@EJB, Endless pools makes another fastlane for pools that are already built. YOu just drop it in and it is suppose to be very good. Google endless pools. I think the price is around $5900.00 for that unit.

We created short video showing the difference between the Badujet & the Fastlane, take a look: YouTube - Badu Swim Jets vs. the FastlaneÂRegistered by Endless PoolsÂRegistered Give us a call, we'll set you up with a test swim in your area. 800-732-8660
  • Is there a way to try it out? Once you install it, you've got it. If you're not comfortable swimming it in , it's a waste of money and space.
