  • I've traveled to India and New Dehli, in particular, yearly since 2003, both for business and some pleasure. I can't comment on the particular issues going on right now @ the Commonwealth Games, but, even though I'm very careful with respect to where I eat and what I eat when I'm there, I get some gastric distress every trip, ranging from mild to severe. I'm typically pretty iron-stomached, but this experience has also been repeated when I've traveled in parts of Africa and South America. Part of this is going to happen in almost any environment where the combination of time zone changes, travel stress and relatively significant dietary changes exist. Having said that, the sanitation problems do sound dreadful and can't be helping out.
