I checked the roster of events and find there are very few events marked on the calender. Why is any one training if there are no meets?
It would help to know if and when some one can swim in a meet. Some body is falling down on the job.
I was under the impression that sanctioned events would get posted automatically by USMS, but that does not appear to be the case. Does this responsibility fall to the LMSC and/or meet directors?
Eventually it will, perhaps within a year.
Right now it is up to the individual LMSC to decide whom, if anyone, is responsible for posting the events. I suspect most LMSCs don't have any formal protocol for this. Most LMSCs (mine included) maintain their own calendar of local events that would interest its members.
