"The LMSC did have one USMS rule violation this year. Ohio caused the violation by allowing a deer to swim at the indoor pool at Cleveland State University without having it sign a release form. I did talk to Kevin McCardle, the new president of Ohio about this situation and he agreed to make sure that before anymore wild animals jump into the indoor pool at Cleveland State he will have them put there hoof or paw print on the dotted line!"
I knew that Ohio had a bunch of animal swimmers ....

As I recall ...
One hot steamy afternoon a friend of mine (100#) was walking her 2 (maybe 3?) Bouviers (~100# each) on leash. They walked past an indoor college swim pool that had the doors open during varsity swim practice.

The dogs bolted and ran into the pool enclosure ... and jumped in the pool to cool off.
My friend was mortified and apologized profusely !
