Great video review of fins, USMS; especially you, Jayhawk (Anna Lea)! :applaud: I was especially pleased to see my new fins (Speedo Optimus) got such a good review, because I really like them. I had purchased Speedo Neo Socks to wear with my fins, but they aren't even needed, since the fins are so comfortable and don't dig in or rub my feet.
Between this video review and the reviews on Swimoutlet.com, it makes choosing a fin much easier!
If you are trying to decide whether to buy fins at all, I recommend them for building strength. I took Fort's advice and opted to give them a try to help strengthen my legs for backstroke, butterfly, and SDK. As a breaststroker with a slow backstroke, I've already noticed progess in my kick in a short period of time, because of the speed sets I'm doing with fins. After I finish sets with the fins, I repeat the sets without, followed by sets of the full stroke. I feel the fins are helping to improve my kick quite a bit.
