In 1974 Greensboro host the Men's Final Four college basketball championship as well as many ACC basketball tournaments. The PGA Wyndham Championship is played here and next year the Greensboro Coliseum will host the 2011 U.S. Figure Skating Championship. The 2012 championships will be held at the Greensboro Aquatic Center which is under construction at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex.
