And if Bakhuis mistakenly stopped at the 1450, shouldn't he have been able to swim another 50 to avoid the DQ? :dunno:
You'd think so. Maybe he got out of the pool before realizing his mistake. Not sure why, though, since the other swimmer still had nearly 500 meters left to swim. AHO is the Netherlands Antilles, by the way.
